Do Squirrel Make good pets?
Cute, fluffy, fun to watch out are the most common attributes that you can associate with a squirrel, that is why there are people who wants to take care of them and considered as their pet. But is it possible?

Legality
There are country's that illegalized squirrel to be a pet for home owners. This animal are wild animals it only means they must live in a wild. Because if they are on their natural habitat they can do the following;
• Climb tall trees
• Shelter themselves on natural place which is the tee
• They want to move freely and find foods on their own.

Not easy to take care of
When you capture the squirrel then suddenly decided to take care of it as your pet then that will be a problem, they may be shock on the changes on their wild life that is why they are not easy to take care of. They have needs that only the wilds can provide for them. They are active animal that wants to move around and climb trees and that will never happen if you let them stay and trap on a cage.

Can be destructive
Because of the sharp nails of the squirrel it can be very destructive to your house. If you will let it free to move inside the house, then it may damage some of your property as well. It will be messy and takes your time to clean it.

Dangerous to your health
When you touch or inhale squirrel droppings and urines it may bring bacteria and viruses that may bring diseases to you and to your family like leptospirosis and salmonella. They may also have rabies that can pass on to you if they scratch you with their sharp nails.
