Squeaking sounds, noisy movements in the attic is very alarming it only proves that there is something upstairs that need to get rid right away before it gives you bigger damages. One sign that there is a living creature in your attic is a nest but what should you do?

Repellants
There are ways that you can do at home to repel the squirrel to keep on coming back on its nest. There are homemade repellants that you can use. Just follow these steps;
• Get a rag, ammonia and a basin
• Soak the rag into a basin with ammonia
Place the rag near the nests.

Effectiveness
The strong smell of this repellants will make the squirrel irritate and leave its nest. But if you do not want to make your own repellants, there are commercial repellants that you can buy in the market.

Make a loud sound
Too much sound may irritate the squirrel as well, that is why if you find nest on your attic you may play a loud sound using a radio on the attic so they will not come back on its nest. Place the radio as near as possible to its nest. Just turn the sound with enough sound this may irritate the animal as well.

Make it bright
Squirrels do not like too much brightness so to repel them on keep on coming back to their nest, just simply turn on the lights on your attic. Direct the light on its nest so it will be more effective. Do not simply get rid of its nest, make sure first that animal won't come back before cleaning its nest and your whole attic and close all the possible entry as well.
